During our financial planning sessions, I learned that he worked additionally as both a real estate agent and a loan broker. When it came time for my wife and I to purchase our first home, we opted to go with Jeff for his demonstrated holistic knowledge of the industry and of our personal finances. Jeff served as three entities in one (financial planner, loan broker, real estate agent), which streamlined the process for us immensely. Jeff made and continues to make setting us up for success in both the short and long term a priority. Throughout our homebuying experience, he was personable, easy to work with, answered our numerous questions and communicated clearly and frequently as required, helped set/manage expectations and strategy, was highly flexible and adaptable, and did a good job of making us feel like his only client, though he was working on closing multiple other properties on top of his other financial advising work at the same time. He was very supportive throughout the process and not a “hard sell” type agent, which we particularly appreciated. We toured several properties together; we found the one we liked most and wanted to put a bid in on, but it came off the market for a time. While we continued to look for other properties, he continued to monitor that one, and immediately after it came back on the market, he notified us, drafted a cover letter, and we put our bid in. We were the first and last one. Jeff expertly guided us through a rocky closing process, was a good advocate and negotiator, and was able to get us enough of what we wanted to feel comfortable closing the deal.
